GET back to feeling great and doing what you love

DR. LAURA WALSH

OSTEOPATH / DIRECTOR

MEET LAURA

Laura thrives on connecting with people, this was a large part of her reason for starting Quay Osteo - to connect with the Torquay community and build a team of like-minded, health-focused practitioners. She is deeply compassionate and has a special understanding for the impact of complex conditions on individual and families. In both her personal and professional life, she is always looking at how she can grow and evolve to then support and empower others to do the same. A new-ish mum, she particularly enjoys working with young families and has undertaken extensive professional development on working with babies and children.

DR. YOLANDA FISHER

OSTEOPATH

MEET YOLLI

Yolli is loved and trusted by animals and children alike, and we can’t think of better judges of character. Originally from Scotland, she is a talented musician and has a deep love for the beauty and stillness of the natural world. In contrast, she is a self-confessed weight lifting junkie and can outlift anyone in the clinic. Her clients appreciate her ability to work with both gentleness and strength, and her intuition on what is needed on the day. Her great loves are her two dogs and she is a talented animal osteopath who can be found at allearsanimalosteopathy.com.au

DR. JAMES SHANAHAN

OSTEOPATH

MEET JAMES

James has an openness and curiosity about that world that can encourage you to look at things differently. His thirst for knowledge has turned him into a perpetual student, and he joins us while he completes his Medicine post graduate studies at Deakin. We expect to be referring to him as an orthopedic surgeon one day. Clients value his lateral thinking ability when it comes to recurrent pain, especially of the pelvis and lower extremity, and overcoming the limitations this places on their favourite activities. Colleagues appreciate what he brings to team brainstorming on complex conditions. A golf addict and keen runner, he has enjoyed adapting to the coastal lifestyle in 2020.

DEE, GINNI & GEORGIE

RECEPTION + ADMINISTRATION

MEET GINNI, DEE & GEORGIE

Ginni Bilston – Practice Manager
Ginni is arguably the heart and soul of Quay Osteo. Her welcoming smile and regular laughter make her a favourite with clients keen for a little catch up while they wait for their appointment. Ginni’s passion for our community and helping others mean that she always has her ear to the ground for how we can be of service to those in need. With 3 boys of her own, she spends a lot of time driving to and from cricket and sitting watching for hours in between. Cooking is one of her great loves, and the Quay Osteo team is spoiled by her talent and generosity in the kitchen.

Dee Ogden - Reception
Without knowing it, Dee brings the deep, grounding calm that clients experience when they sit in the Quay Osteo waiting room. Dee is a gifted meditation teacher and nature guide, mum of two gorgeous girls, and runs a community produce swap cart in Jan Juc. She is passionate about reducing our environmental impact, and has been an inspiration for ways that the clinic can reduce waste and promote sustainability. The team breathe deeper on the days that Dee is at work.

Georgie Favaloro
Georgie is our little ray of sunshine. Her beaming smile is as apparent down the phone line as it is when you arrive at Quay Osteo in person. Georgie has a flare for illustration and design, and loves surfing, skating and staffys. She brings enthusiasm and initiative to the way we do things at the clinic, and has a strong influence on our social media presence.
